iPhone 15 vs. iPhone 14: Should You Upgrade?

The basic iPhone is now more attractive than ever, thanks to several improvements in Apple’s new iPhone 15. The Apple brand fully committed to the standard model this year, even if the iPhone 14 was only a slight evolution compared to its predecessor. The improvements are numerous, even if the Pro Motion screen is not present, which unfortunately remains exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. Design And Screen

The iPhone 15 is more significant (5.81 inches versus 5.78 inches) than the previous iPhone. Still, it’s unclear how well it will perform in real-world use, given that Apple reports the exact battery life figures for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 15. Three storage options are available for both iPhones: 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB. Wi-Fi 6, 5G, and Bluetooth 5.3 are three wireless connectivity options. With the iPhone 15, one of the most anticipated changes to iPhones has finally happened: USB-C has replaced the Lightning port. However, it does not use the port’s speed advantages. Unlike the iPhone 15 Pro, which supports USB 3, you’re still limited to USB 2.

All other features remain intact, including support for 1080p resolution at 120 or 240 frames per second, Action and Cinematic modes, HDR video recording with Dolby Vision, and Slo-mo video capabilities. Updates And Software

Regarding software updates, the iPhone 15 will likely get an additional year of support compared to the previous generation model. However, this shouldn’t be a problem as Apple typically releases software updates for its devices every six years. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 have similar features, such as collision detection, satellite roadside assistance, and satellite emergency SOS for people stranded in a no-network area.

The iPhone 15 features an improved second-generation UWB (Ultra Wideband) chip, which will help locate the iPhone more precisely using the Find My app. eSIMs can only be used in the United States, and there is still no SIM tray.
